Studio Artist Program

With a background in photography and sculpture, Jonathan Bouknight is interested in using and interrelating a number of media to create works describing the artist’s own sensory experiences, in hopes of going beyond the limits of conscious thought. The subject matter of his work toys with the boundaries and signifiers of gender, sexuality, beauty, and strength in Western culture. He has shown extensively in Atlanta, GA with solo shows at Whitespace and Eyedrum, and is currently trying his hand at curating.
