Creative Lives & Careers: Feedback
Tue, Oct 02, 6:30–8pm
Every art student has experienced “The Crit” as an encouraging or anxiety-filled event. Can artworks speak for themselves? Are intentions made clear by the artist’s choice of medium, scale, touch, and title? We’ll find out when Isolde Brielmaier, Chief Curator, Savannah College of Art and Design, and Jason Francisco, Associate Professor of Visual Arts at Emory University, discuss new works by Atlanta-based artists Paul S. Benjamin, Jill Frank, and Shara Hughes. Consider this the smart version of Bravo’s reality show Work of Art. Come be a part of the audience and enjoy a cash bar through the evening.
